All I can do is *nod* along when reading this. If Jack was waiting for Will and he just didn't show up, for reasons unexplained, this is the frustration I can imagine Jack going through, and see him coming to that conclusion.

Very nice take on what might've been going on there.

And what, pray tell, does Elizabeth-sodding-Swann have that Jack doesn’t? Well… aside from the obvious, of course.

I laughed out loud.

And overall, the flow of this fic was very well done. I liked the idea of Jack being bitchy and throwing a snit Will is languishing his hormonal attentions on Elizabeth instead of following him, but in denial, and also in denial Will has no idea he should be throwing such attention towards Jack. I like him being stubborn like a child and going 'so there nya nya' when he decides to bully Will instead. You have Jack's voice done pretty well. Again, much loved, and I'm memorying!

Thank you so much! I just love jealous!Jack as well. I think it goes a lot further in explaining his interactions with Elizabeth than anything else. ANd I'm so glad to hear that I got Jack's voice. He's a tricky one to get sometimes.

Yes. Yes. This would be Jack's attitude towards love precisely, AND towards the person who had the damned audacity to make him feel it. How terribly inconvenient it is for him! And how thoroughly rude of them not to drop everything and bask in the glory of Jack-love.
