Very powerfully done . . . I'm always a sucker for the story behind the art, and your meta made the video that much more impactful (is that even a word? I'm making up a word to describe your video if that's the case . . ) :)

This song reminds me of something almost Hunchback-ish. Great vid, as always!

Thanks!
Actually, it is from The Hunchback of Notre Dame... An English translation of the French play? I know next to nothing else about the context of the song other than that because I heard it elsewhere, but yeah.

Awesome! I heard gypsy and angsty stuff about sin and just leapt to that conclusion. Excellent choice, quite fitting. (lol Kirk as a gypsy)

Lol, yeah, that gypsy line was the only thing that didn't fit, but everything else just seemed to scream pon-farr at the top of it's lungs, at least to me it did.
Y'know, it occurred to me later that Leonard Nimoy mentioned in either I Am Spock or I Am Not Spock when he saw The hunchback of Notre Dame as a kid, and it stayed with him and he incorporated some of that into his characterization of Spock, which is kinda interesting in a probably-not-quite-relevant way... I don't know if the play he saw had this song in it though... :/

Commented on you tube but loved it! You make me wish I knew how to make videos.

Thanks :)
You really don't need to know anything to make videos, it just takes practice. Every computer has Windows Movie Maker (or iMovie if you use a mac), so it's just a matter of getting the video footage and fiddling with the program till you get the hang of it.

Where would you get the footage?

All of mine have been ripped from the DVD, but if you don't have them on DVD you could try torrent sites (I don't really understand how those work), or use one of the youtube download sites http://mashable.com/2007/05/05/download-youtube-video/ to download from this account http://www.youtube.com/user/TubeMandreke (you may also need a file converter, because a lot of the sites download the files in flv format, and if you're using WMM you'll need it in avi format I think, and if you use iMovie then you need MPEG-4 format, but if you just google flv converter you should find one)
