I like the video!
I really want to understand why if we are 43 years ahead in time we are so behind!!!!
why they can't get to the point and instead they put Uhura (a het relationship) in between why they are so AFRAID OF THE TRUTH!
i really like to understand why Uhura now is an object, has less rank then Pavel, and she must be tomboy to fit there!
Uhura tos don't need nothing of the sort!!!!
Why K/S were more close than here!!! so we are in the dark ages now???

I know. I think its because we don't have such strict censorship, people are allowed to put what they want in their movies and shows, so they don't fight to push boundaries anymore.

I love your analysis. It does feel like everyone's settling for "almost." And yeah, poor Spock Prime! :(

after 43 years of K/S being so close to canon that they basically did everything but call each other lovers (oh wait, they did that too...), the writers could've been brave and made it happen in this franchiseNo kidding! At the very least, they could've hinted at it and left the possibility open, rather than going down that different route, as you said ( ... )

*sigh* I know. Although I'm hopeful that they won't do too much on S/U, and they'll play up Kirk & Spock's friendship, since they do seem on board with that. but it'll just never be the same.
