A long, long time ago delgaserasca posted a ficathon with prompts, in which I decided to take part. Six months later, after much angst and re-writes, I finally finished my contribution. Massive thanks to belantana ; without her fearless beta work, I doubt this story would ever see the light of day.

So lovely, but sad as well.

I'm so pleased to see a Zaf story, almost everything I have been for ages has been Harry Ruth or Lucas focused. Zaf and Jo are brilliant characters but sadly ignored in ff land.

Thanks for sharing. Do we get to read one from Jo's point of view about Zaf too? xx Crosses fingers.

So, so lovely - and as katie2299 said, it's really nice to see a Zaf fic (I miss him!)

Zaf found it nearly impossible to walk out of that room, but he had a flight to Tehran to catch

That last line just broke my heart.

This was painful to read (in the OH MY HEART IS ANGSTY way), but so true to the characters. Zaf. :(

I love the little details, shadow puppets and the click of Aimee's heels. Adam's being loaned off. And SAM. Oh, Sam, that line of hers was perfect and so true.
