I finally finished late last night. Sigh. It was so lovely. You really captured the angst and Callie's pain during the whole separation. You also wonderfully captured her somewhat over the top anger that had them outside arguing. I truly felt the shivers from being out there in the cold too!

I loved the story way back when and I absolutely loved it now. I can't thank you enough for coming back and continuing it. The transition from the old chapters to the new is seamless and just wonderful.

I feel bad for 'Anne' but she had to know Erica was never truly hers. I can just imagine Callie's jealousy knowing that she still works at the same hospital as Erica. And I can just imagine the fights that might take place when Callie wants to work there too. I can imagine Erica saying that she should work at a different hospital just so they can have separate careers and then Callie losing her top thinking it's about Anne.

What a wonderful ending and I love that it was a happy one. Thanks again!!!

That said, I'm glad you didn't feel too much of a difference with the new chapters. I started re-writing again without watching the show itself, so I wasn't particularly sure of how in-character it was. I wanted you to feel bad for Anne. I truly imagined her as a girl that, if your heart didn't already belong to somebody else, you could fall in love with. You know, sincere, honest, funny. And I must admit in my head if I was even to imagine a future for the characters at that point I'd definitely picture her as a sort of new person to talk to about things for Erica. Cause if I were her I definitely would not put all my life in Callie's hands, cause, look how well it turned out the first time around! So definitely jealousy on the part of Callie and friendship with history for the other two :)

Wow.. 2 years in the making and worth the wait! That was amazing, I loved your Erica and their arguments were spot on, it was soo frustrating to listen to Callie moaning away like she had been wronged, I silently cheered quite a few times reading this and you may have gotten a tear out of me.. but just one!! :P Thank you for finishing this, it was a pleasure to read :)

Callie IS annoying!! I can't help it. As much I feel more comfortable in writing from her POV instead of Erica's, part of me cringes every time she throws a tantrum or gets fired up over nothing or behaves like all the world is out to get her. Just.. annoying XD
