I'd say technically it's not iTunes' fault, but the fault of whoever submitted the CD track names to their database in the first place. Oh the fun I've had with the eighteen different ways people tag their Big Finish CDs. :)
I had similar trouble with one of my Röyksopp albums. I make sure any track featuring osmeone I stick "(ft. wossname)" into the track title and leave the artist as just the band.

I had to manually fix the Pendulum album as well.
