We were on the Disneyland Pirates of the Caribbean ride yesterday. Time was, the pirates used to be chasing women in endless circles, ostensibly to have their piratical way with them. Nowadays there's only one woman, and she has a tray of food, so the chasing pirate is just hungry. Also, there's a woman chasing a man around with a rolling pin. I don't know how to feel about equal-opportunity pirates.
