as for the puppy - it might be due to the breed but i believe the burrying is also because he doesn't yet understand that you will always feed him. i'm not sure what his history is... but it sounds kind of cute. :o) as for training - they have these great little (hard) treats that are fantastic for dog training! remember it's all in the tone - and try watching "it's me or the dog" (on bbc or animal planet) for some practical and easy tips.
