Wow. This was absolutely exquisite, so beautifully written. Vastra's point of view and perspective are really striking, lending a sharp, cold atmosphere to the scene, while River's presence is such a warm and solid one. I've always thought River and Vastra would tremendously respect and understand each-other. Thank you so much for sharing.
