The Event
Let’s finish off the year by filling as many of the leftover prompts from the July ficathon as we can! Here’s how this works:
1) Visit the Orphanage for Abandoned Prompts and pick a prompt!
2) Write super-awesome fanfiction about River.
3) Post your fanfiction, in the comments or on your journal (but be sure to comment here with a link to your journal!).
4) Read and comment on other fanfiction! Remember, authors live for feedback. ;)
The ficathon opens on 12/31/10 at 12am GMT and closes on 1/1/11 at 12am PST. Comments will be closed at that time, though if you’re just a teeeeensy bit late and want to shoot me a PM, I’ll toss yours in there.
A masterlist will be released approximately a week after the close of the ficathon. Prompts in the Orphanage for Abandoned Prompts will be crossed out as their fills are posted-BUT, don’t worry if a prompt you’re halfway through filling is crossed off. More than one fill for a prompt is fine. Please, though, don’t start one of the crossed off prompts.
Please note that all fanfiction should be about River Song or feature her heavily. All pairings, ratings and kinks are welcome! Fanfiction of any length is welcome, including drabbles!
The Rules
- Post appropriate ratings and warnings with each fic.
- Please only post fanfiction written specifically for this ficathon.
- Please post the prompt and prompter with your fic, so they’ll see you’ve filled their prompt!
- Please be polite to all participants.
- Please don't post your fanfiction for this to the community in general: link or post it in the comments only. :)
