Ohh that looks so yummy! When I was a kid my mum used to make a cake similar-ish to cheese cake. It had a spongy base (often shop bought I have to say) and a top/filling made with quark and fruit - mandarins were my favourite! Think I prefer English cheesecake though, all in all :) Must save the recipe ...

I've never had a mandarin cheesecake. I think I prefer one with berries, though. I love mandarin oranges but fresh off the tree and not from a tin.

The recipe is very adaptable - the base is just biscuit, the cheese is cream cheese, cream, sugar, real vanilla (hence the little black dots) and orange zest, and the topping pieces of fruit.

And now you can make it yourself. No cooking required! It's all made cold, apart from the biscuit base which uses melted butter.
