Yesterday I finally watched the first two episodes of Torchwood. There were a few little references to chameleon circuits, Cybermen and Christmas alien invasions, and Captain Jack needing to see a doctor about his 'condition', but otherwise the series stands up by itself. While there was a reference to 'CSI:Cardiff', I was more reminded of Bugs(

If you have the capacity, try downloading an episode or two via your favourite TV downloading website (eg. one based on bittorrent). Apparently the episode to be broadcast on Sunday (November 5th) will feature one or more Cybermen!
