Yeah, it's bizarre, I feel the Spock/Uhura love but I came out of the theater seriously shipping some Sarek/Amanda. And I thought, I want to try writing her. Only that would make SIX muses at Paradisa and I was flailing like a little bitch when I first got THREE at once. Also it's a daunting fandom to jump into, you know? I've been a casual Trek fan my entire life but I don't think I'd ever seen a single TOS episode until this week.

Anyway I'm gonna stop rambling and continue drinking my coffee. :D

Oh yes the Sarek/Amanda I think could be a really interesting thing to explore? Have you read/listened to the movie tie in? omg I started listening last night (hello it's 8 hours of listening to Zachary Quinto reading), and it started with Spock's birth. Omg it's so awesome because Sarek isn't there and Amanda goes all super bitch on him yelling at him :D You should definitely check it out. Oh and then it goes on to say that he has his mothers eyes, and then omg it's so cute because she apparently pokes his ear and it uncurls and omg adorable mental images are adorable.

I can't wait to read your character though, It I'm really looking forward to it. I hope that I'll have the chance TO read your character even if I don't get accepted. I don't currently have any characters at Paradisa so I'm terrified lulz.

It is a daunting fandom, I've grown up watching Voyager and TNG, not so much TOS though, so I'm still nervous. D:
