The photos were new six months ago - even three months ago. But they are nearly as old as pictures from TFT (2004), Game Night with Dave and Darcy (2006), or Ivy's first birthday (2007). Fairly optimistic, although nothing is certain yet. More info is to be had on Tuesday the 16th of September.

How has the friend seeing been?

I really wish there was some way I could just spend a few days hanging out. I know we've both changed, but I think the person you're coming to be is as great if not better than the person you have been and it would be fun/good. But that can't happen for awhile, at least.

Happy on some fronts, content on most, coping on the few remaining.

Time is the great destroyer, but it also creates history and establishes trust. I don't mind waiting weeks or months or years to see you - so long as I do someday.
