What I've always loved about your art is how you depict the tender moments of intimacy and true love between Spock and Uhura. You mirror what I see of them in my heart and imagination.

=^..^=

Regeneration takes time, surface skin appears normal while beneath lies a pulsating mass of tissue; knitting, healing, laying down layers. A cheek and shoulder bore the brunt, but this minor consequence of Hendorff pushing her from harm was something to be grateful for.

An intrusive flash of the sheet as a shroud sledgehammers into his head, and he thrusts it away; the demon scratching behind a door. He plucks the edge of the fabric, lifts it clear of her shoulder and folds it at her waist, a distance from the regenerating skin. There is a minute, reassuring swell and contraction of her ribcage.

Some strands of hair are fallen over her still-mending face, and with fingers light as feathers he lifts the hair up and away.

The hulking security guard saved Spock's life too, more than once. He knows it was really for her, but The Commander doesn’t want Hendorff to die on account of Nyota.

That’s a Vulcan’s duty.

Your writing, as always, goes beyond the facile and into the lyrical evocative world of dreams. "An intrusive flash of the sheet as a shroud sledgehammers into his head, and he thrusts it away; the demon scratching behind a door." ,,,perfection. For the first time I understand Spock's expression, even thought I put it there.
