Okay, because I am lame and have, quite honestly, not had much success/experience with icon making, can you suggest any good tutorials or programs or something? Either post them here to the comm or to me in general (NEEDY!LOVE IS NEEDY).

I don't know any good tutorials, but I use photoshop to make icons (god, that is probably really redundant) . I mostly just threw myself into icon-making so I don't think I would be of much help /o\ BUT textures can be very helpful when making icons, I know a few good communities where you can find some really good ones, if you're interested!

textures_r_us is where I get all of mine from - they have really wonderful stuff ♥ good_tutorial is awesome too!
