I'm going on a long road trip soon and wanted some awesome fics to pass the time! I haven't read a SPN fanfic since March 2014 (ish), so I'm looking mostly for fics created in 2014 or 2015, but that's by no means a rule. These are some of the genres I like, but if you have any angsty/dark/epic personal favorites, feel free to share those, too

I See the Moon
Sam had known how Dean felt about him when he'd left for Stanford. His own feelings weren't so clear. He'd needed time away from it all, hunting, his father, and especially Dean. It took him five years and a degree he hadn't planned on to realize there was only one person he wanted to share his life with. He'd never considered the possibility that Dean would move on without him...or that something could happen that would erase him from his brother's life completely. (Wincest)

My favorite blind Dean fic is fleshflutter's Dark Side of the Moon where Dean is entranced by a water wraith that leaves him blind and deaf.

Have you read Counting to Ten In Other Galaxies by sardonicsmiley? It's a Stargate crossover.
