When I read the description, I knew that I knew the story - and I was quite sure I'd listened to a podfic of it. Took me a while to find the fic though, as I've since then, accidentally deleted all my bookmarks and sent my laptop to be repaired and have half of my stuff on a separate drive now... anyway, I found it. And I'm going to listen to it again, because it was awesome.
(I'm an idiot for posting this without logging in, deleted the anon comment because it should have been mine... *sigh*)
Well d'uh you are of course perfectly right! Thank you! Thank you! THANK YOU!!!! And I am so stupid! I even have the podfic on my harddrive, I just kind of didn't draw the connection... (which says a lot about the amount of fiction I collected...
