Hi, I'm looking for a fic I believe I seen it once on fanfiction.net. There both young kids, and Sam had only just realized that Dean wasn't eating much so that the food would stretch. It wasn't the one I was looking for, but it was good in its own right. The one I am looking for Sam realized what was happening as they were still kids. He would pretend to make his school lunches so Dean wouldn't notice he wasn't eating properly and so that Dean would eat thinking Sam already had.

Still Not Hungry was awesome, and I liked it. Do you have anything else similar, but more of how Sam would do without when he was a kid, keeping it hidden from Dean so he wouldn't know? Dean could find out later or anytime really but I would like it more if it were when there children.

Glad you enjoyed. I'm sorry but I misread your original request. Most--if not all--of the focs I've read are about Dean going without, not Sam. Sorry. Have you searched the Genre:Food tag on the comm??

This isn't the one you're looking for but it's exceptionally good but it's not a happy fic. Sam develops an eating disorder.
Settle Down My Shivered Bones by a_biting_smile Sometimes John hunts without his boys, and sometimes he stays gone too long. His sons come up with a way to cope. It's not necessarily pretty, but it's what they do.
