General request - S1/S2 minor characters

Alright, posting in this comm seems to be working better than magic, so lets give it another try..

I'm rewatching the first seasons for the umpteenth time, and I was wondering if there's any fics that expand upon the minor characters. Things like 'What happens with [...] after they met the Winchesters', or just the P.O.V of the characters during

I don't know if this is what you're looking for but sammygirl1963 often writes stories involving the characters of Joshuah and Caleb and Pastor Jim and involves them a lot in her stories and how they met or interact with Sam and Dean and even John. She almost always writes in Season 1 or 2 a lot.

Those are a couple of characters that seem to get overlooked way too often, for all that they have the potential to have a massive backstory. Thanks for the goldmine :)

So I did my own personal BIG BANG on exactly this. Vid and story...

ROAD TO NOWHERE

Summary: Several years ago Dean and Sam saved Michael and Asher from a Striga, but as Dean knows all too well. Once that innocence is lost, there is no going back. Still, Dean is surprised when Michael shows up, years later, asking for their help on a hunt. Dean tries to talk him out of ‘the life’, until he finds out who it is that Michael is hunting and why.

Your fic is the one I meant when I said I knew there was a story with Michael coming back. Watched the vid like, just yesterday?
But it mentions things like Lucifer and the Leviathans, and I haven't actually watched anything beyond the Season 4 final (nor was I planning to- I've lost patience with the writers :P) so just a question: how much of the season-4-and-later plot is in it? If it's not too much, I'd love to read it ^_^

Well... There is mention of season 7, and there is one scene ONLY that you may not understand as a result, but ... promise... it really does stand alone as a fic with plot. Bad guys are original characters.

I've always been a little fascinated with Pastor Jim- he gets all of a handful of minutes of screentime, and we're left to imagine his backstory. It's nice that someone's featuring him in fics a little. Those were great reads, thanks ^_^
