Hi there! I'm looking for any fics in which either Sam or Dean somehow get a glimpse of the future and they try to change it.

I've got two so far I can suggest.

I'm currently reading It's the Blueprint of Your Life and am about 1/3 the way through. It's Sam/Dean and so far has Sam coming back in time from Season 9-ish to his younger body (2007 and beginning of Season 3) so he can stop the Apocalypse and save Dean from his deal. The Sam/Dean stuff hasn't happened yet (that I can immediately recall to mind. Brain fried from work... >.<), but that pairing is listed and the rating is NC-17. So tis in the future! :)

Then I read a fantastic gen one, Look Back in Anger. Again it's a time travel Sam, this time from 2011/Season 7 going back to the final episode of Season 1 and actually going through with shooting his demon-possessed Dad and averting all the apocalypse stuff in subsequent Seasons. There's an angsty journey to the brotherly bonding and schmoop and the ending isn't all flowers and puppies, but it's well worth the journey. Highly recommend this read ( ... )

Oh, thank you so much! I've started reading the first one and it's exactly what I was looking for! All that determination and single-mindedness I love about Sam. :X And I'll give the second one a shot too, because I'm a sucker for time traveling fics.

That's alright, I got it while reading anyway. *giggles* I finished the second fic as well and I loved it, even though I usually avoid gen fics like the plague. :) This one was just too good! Thank you again for your rec :D
