Summary: Seven hundred and ninety-six years ago (give or take a few centuries) a stranger in a long coat left infant Sammy with Sir John to raise as his own. Eleven years later Castiel returns to the Castle of Forest Sauvage to tutor Dean and Sam, until the day Dean is officially knighted and Sam, well. Sam turns out to have some unexpected blood running through his veins and a most peculiar knack for pulling swords out of unlikely places.
