Does anybody know fic with Native American characters/themes? I know 'Lament of
Lost Souls' by plutogirl10. Is moar plz? And thank you x

Puppy Dog Tales is about a Native American 'cursing' the boys to experience their spirit totems for awhile. It's a great read, though it's not so much cursing them. *shrugs* Only offering I have on my list, so I'mma gonna track this!

There's another one I'm thinking of, but I can't find it. Maybe someone will know it? It's a coming of age story for Sam. John and Dean get cursed to forget about him and be obsessed with the hunt until it kills them. So Sam travels across the country to save them. He meets a few Native American legends. I think the Jersey Devil follows him-it a cute little horse-like thing. He also makes friends with a woman that was turned into a large cat creature. That should be enough details for someone to find it. I could have sworn I had it saved...

And I thought of another one I can't find...Dean is turned into a golden eagle/falcon and Sam goes to a shaman?/Native American tribe to turn him back. There is a ritual that takes place in the desert in a hole/cavern in the ground, and Dean turns back slowly/painfully and there is a point where he just has wings and a bird/animal-like mind. I hope someone can find this for you.

Not much help but theres one where I think Sam and Dean are hunting a Thunderbird of sort and they learn later on the Thunderbird is a Native Indian trying to protect whats left of his land and takes Dean cause has certain qualities that will make him a good Thunderbird and help protect the lands.

Dont remember if it was gen or wincest ^^

Some not really more info on the unknown title fiction, Theres also parts where the Native Indian has already taken Dean and wants to crush his body so that Dean can be reborn into the Thunderbird(if it was that said bird).
