Sam Brain Injury POV post-apocalypse fic - FIC FOUND

I'm looking for a specific older post-apocalypse fic with Sam and Dean living together off the grid (I think it was Wincest but could have been gen). It is told through Sam's POV but he has some kind of traumatic brain injury so the story is fragmented. As the fic goes along, Dean is very protective and we get clues that Sam with his powers likely

That sounds like candle_beck's The Land of the Blind, although I can't remember if Sam caused the apocalypse. It otherwise fits though.

Glad you found what you were looking for, but Imma throw in one more good one along these lines:
spn_j2fan's The Good Place - in this one, Sam still has some powers, but his mental state has altered greatly.

Summary: The brothers wander this new Earth as the world rebuilds itself. And now, forty years later, their appearance unchanged and unchanging, their journey continues. They help when they can, survive as they must, and run when trouble finds them. Oakville should be just another settlement, but Sam and Dean find acceptance there, even friendship. Is this the place where they can finally settle down, or will they have to wait for The Good Place after all?
