Fic based on Robin Hood? Sam/Dean or J2 or Gen

Y'all have any recommendations for stories based on the legend of Robin Hood? I've seen a couple of humorous ones (Men in Tights), but I'm looking for something a little more serious - more mystical. Think the British TV series Robin of Sherwood starring Michael Praed and later Jason Connery

Summary: Ever since Deputy Mayor Prince took control of Nottingham's municipal government, things have been looking worse for the residents of the Sherwood Towers project, and for city employee Jensen, whose conscience dictates he should do something to help. Activist Jared helps him figure out what that is.

This should be more suitable for your request, I hope, I, personally, always enjoy the author's works. It's long and quite original with historical settings.

Thank you! The first one is new to me, so even if it's not what I'm after - new fic! Yay!

I've checked around with other people in the fandom, including those whose memories go back farther than mine, but - no joy. I have to assume that such doesn't exist. Although you would think it might, in some form, wouldn't you? The combination of Show and mystic Britain *feels* right, to me.

You're welcome. I'd enjoy more Robin Hood related stories, too.

You know, the reason for the lacking number of stories may be the "european historical factor", actually. But I could totally see a Robin Hood kind of tale with US characters set in a typical "western" contest or an early '900s setting.

Well, let's hope someone will be inspired in future.
