I remember that the fic started with Castiel waking up near Detroit (probably) and soon after he found a young Dean Winchester. The ending was that Dean found the Impala and then from there they found Sam.

Also, any other post-apocalyptic fics with the fee of The Last Outpost of All That Is or Other Worlds Than These? No zombies, just barren
