So, six years ago I signed up to be on the National Database for bone marrow donation, did my little cheek swab, signed the forms and that was that. There's lots more to the story than that, and it is a death fic. But it's an awesome story. Done for SPN_J2BB 2010, and the artwork for the fic is here. There's also a vid, here.

Oh, also! I just thought of a fic by meus_venator that would qualify for this. It's Pieces I Give to You, Jared is a high-class hooker, Jensen is a high grade clone.

Thank you. I usually have a hard time with death fics but if it's well written then maybe shedding a few tears will be cathartic for me. Thank you again, I will check them both out.

You lose one of them in both of these. I don't usually do deathfics, either, and I cried buckets over these, but they're worth it, I think. Take tissues. *s*

Summary: Jared finds out that he has a kidney disorder that causes them to shut down, and he goes into renal failure...now time seems to be running out for finding a kidney donor. Jared feels that Jensen is wasting his time staying with him considering that he's dying and starts to push him away...but Jensen won't go - ever.
