If I had to choose just one candle_beck podfic to listen to (but I don't - yay!) this might be it. Presented as snapshots through several years, this is one of my favorite finally-admitting-to-their-feelings Sam/Dean fics.

candle_beck's writing is evocative and richly detailed, with an occasional poetic turn of phrase that will stop you in your tracks.
Speechless, also written and read by candle_beck, is another fantastic first-time story. A curse leaves Dean speechless and Sam serving as his voice. Dean manages to communicate his opinions and feelings to Sam quite well, for example through facial expressions, well-placed kicks and thrown objects, and using his fingernail to write words on Sam's naked body: "They fade into view like magic, like the words were always there, trapped under Sam's skin until Dean chose to draw them out."

I love this fic (and reader) so very much. Sam and Dean are drawn together slowly, inevitably, rivetingly.
Sam begins experimenting with homosexual hookups, and blogs about it. From the first entry: "My last three relationships were with women, and they all ended horribly. Not throwing dishes or putting each other's stuff on Craigslist bad, but more like the end of the world bad."

This one is so much fun! Sam and Dean have traded their souls for each other so many times that the darn things don't quite stick anymore. The body switching is entertaining and lends itself to a new take on (very hot) porn. balefully navigates it all with a great performance.

During the year before Dean's deal is up, Dean is injured and Sam is determined to save him from Hell. They develop the intimacy of lovers long before they consummate that aspect of their relationship.
