This is a wonderful piece! I love how you not only build up the sweetness and understanding of Jo and Jess's relationship (with very interesting parallels between the two), but also build up what Jess's life as a hunter-in-training would be and what Jess's character is through all this. I also like the way you fit the boys into Jess's new life (and thank you for the background Dean/Cas!). By the end of it, I was feeling more than a little sad that Jess is only YED-fodder in canon.
