In order to protect Sam (an omega) from Dean (an alpha), John (a beta) insists Sam sleep in his bed so he can keep an eye on him. John knows that Dean doesn't want to hurts Sam or make his brother his mate, but he can't control his instincts, so John is determined to keep them apart whenever Sam goes into heat. The problem is, Sam desperately wants to be filled and begs his daddy to help him. John knows that Dean is an alpha and one day he'll force John (a beta) to hand Sam over, unless he mated, so John convinces himself that fucking and mating Sam is the only way to protect Sam and Dean.

*Bonus points if John cries while he mates Sam and calls him his "baby boy."
