Jensen is Jared's teenage son (14-17), who he adopted and raised on his own (reasoning/story behind this up to author anon, if you want to get into that). For all of Jensen's life, it's only been the two of them, and they're ridiculously close as a result. A bit too close, he sometimes suspects, since he's a teenager and he sometimes still needs his dad to rock him to sleep. Jensen knows that he's too old for it, but it's one of the only things that can calm him down when he's stressed or anxious. Whenever he's had a really bad day, he finds himself asking his dad for it and his dad giving in. Would love it if there's lots of touching and caressing and general sweetness. If the author wants to involve sex, as well, I wouldn't be opposed to it (Jensen sitting on Jared's cock while the other lulls him to sleep or Jared fingering Jensen, etc.). I'd also like if both Jared and Jensen feel slightly guilty about it and were cognizant of the fact that it was pretty messed up, but both needing it too much to stop

The weight of it all is terrible, and he can’t help but think that she-- she never even got to get married. He was going to propose before all this, but once the news came out, neither of them had wanted a shotgun wedding. So they had decided to wait, and they went to dress shops so she could run her fingers over the white satin, but she wanted to wait until they were engaged before she tried anything on. He asks, numbly, if she got to see him before she died, and the nurse nods.

He holds his son for the first time, and he opens his wide, wide eyes, and Jared thinks, This is the last thing she saw before she left. Staring down at his son’s face, Jared thinks that if he were to die, he would be glad that it was the last face he saw

Not the OP but I loved this. Jared's emotion for Jensen felt very real. I'd love to hear how Jensen explains that his boy problems are because of Jared. :D Great job!

Omg, so cute, so real. He makes an adorable father, so heartfelt and clearly loving and attentive and caring and nurturing. And then the sex on top of that? It felt so realistic and plausible, and his heart is in the right place and yeah, it's just stuff that happens. It just didn't seem like he was taking advantage, and the clear schmoop/heartfeltness of this just warms my heart. I'd love a sequel if you're still up for considering it. It was hot and sweet and fun to read. So much left to tell with what Jensen is thinking (maybe the "boy trouble" is really crushing-on-his-father trouble?) And how it goes from here: Jared would probably want to pass it off as an accident. But somehow I think Jensen fully knew what he was doing and would want more where that came from. And Jared could probably be convinced, after all he just wants him to be happy. etc
