Title: Swift Hounds of Lússa

Summary: AU. The yellow-eyed demon has lucked out with a bumper crop, this time around. At age eight Andy Gallagher ordered his father to back down. Sam Winchester was showing empathy at four. And at seven Ansem Weems suggested his mother let the paring knife slip, just a little. Now, in their twenty-first year, their numbers are on a bloody decline. Andy Gallagher has problems of his own, and it's not just the murder scene with his fingerprints all over it and the pair of fake FBI agents on his tail. He has to kill his brother, after all; no one else can do it.
Reccer's Comments: The kind of fanfic that could as well be original. Wonderful prose, tightly plotted, spot on characterizations and peppered with a wicked sense of humor.

Reccer's Comments: I kept meaning to rec this when we had the "Law" rec post, but it just didn't seem right given what goes on in this fic. It's freaking GREAT, and shows an AU for Henricksen that was my personal canon long before S4 when we saw him again.
Reccer's Caveats: None. Total genness, and total awesome. Oh, except this is a remix fic. Link to the original fic (To Hunt a Hunter by meredevachon) is in the post. I will admit I was particularly struck by the remix.

Reccer's Comments: Supernatural: The Next Generation meets Nancy Drew. An interesting case-fic with a future Seri (the girl with Mary in her closet from 'Home') as a teenage self-made hunter. She kind of kicks ass. Cameo by Missouri.
Reccer's Caveats: From the author - "Fair warning: this has absolutely no direct Winchester presence."

Warnings/Spoilers: right up through S3 finale
Summary: A long, plotty, post NRFTW story featuring the usual suspects and an OFC with an agenda.
Reccer's Comments: A wonderful, heartbreaking story with an absolutely stunning OFC character. Reads like original fic.
Reccer's Caveats: There's a slight tinge of het within the story, but it's definitely still gen.
Title: Big Sky Country

Summary: She can tell them the story, but she can't make them listen.
Reccer's Comments: Cross-over with Doctor Who. Martha, in the year that never was, in the states. I love the sort of empty feel this fic has.
Reccer's Caveats: Probably won't make much sense without knowing the Doctor Who episode in question.
