heh, got me! I thought this was a 'Dean in hell' fic, and then it turns out to be fever-dreams of a kind. Very nice, descriptive language :)

Poor Dean, stuck with not!Sam in that opening section. That would have to be really frustrating for him, to have Sam but not really have him. Good to see the real Sam in the second section, helping him.
