There were two other things that popped out at me. There were a lot of signs with language about freedom and independence maybe echoing what's going on with Sam and Dean.

The globes are there too and I know they've showed up before.
Not sure if we've seen those particular globes before, but globes have been on screen before.
YES, sneaky mountains! :D
I liked how the colors changed at the end to more cool blues. Even the pen is blue instead of Becky's red one.
The colors definitely changed to cooler when the mojo on Sam wore off and he realized what was really going on. And throughout the ep Dean had his blue car and the green half of Becky's apartment and the extremely yellow hand rails at the insurance company.
That's a really cool catch with the freedom theme!! I'll need to keep that in mind the next time I watch the ep. I think it would make a nice meta. *nudges* :)
Nice catch with Dean on the green side of the apartment and Sam and Becky on the red. Garth was wearing green when he was searching Becky's place on the red side and I think while they were interviewing the insurance guy. Then he's got blue on at the end saying goodbye.
I loved those awesome yellow rails.
In light of the color, Sam probably should have known the waffle iron was dangerous due to the enormous red bow.
The red lighting when they were fighting the demons looked pretty good. Red went from being a color in the surroundings to the entire atmosphere at that point. The level of danger for everyone had just increased to the power of ten as opposed to earlier when it was really only Sam or the demon's victims in danger.
Garth had pretty neutral earthy colors, even his interview tie was brown.
Hee, the red bow on the waffle iron amused me too. :) How ironic that Sam got hit over the head with Dean's peace offering. XD
The red lighting looked kickass! Serge is a master with that stuff.
Btw, regarding the freedom theme you noticed: the Dodge has North Carolina plates that say "First in Flight" which also sort of gives a sense of freedom. You can see this in the end just before the boys drive off. So, one could maybe argue that the boys are driving away from the tall brick walls and towards freedom?
I noticed the plate but didn't even think of it in relation to the rest of it. So cool. I don't remember where Dean stole it but I hope he had the sense to switch out the plates a couple of times.
