What are you doing for Christmas (or any holiday you celebrate) nonnies? anonymous November 8 2012, 18:59:31 UTC
I ask because I tried to make some decorations and they are horrible :(

Do you think Sam will celebrate Christmas with Amelia?

I'm a EChristmasH and won't do anything, but maybe draw some holidays fanart with Sam and Dean having sex under the tree, just because I can and because every season is Wincest season.

You should draw Dean fucking Sam with a candycane? Please?

Why not.

Feels a bit early for Christmas stuff, but next week I'll have some free time and draw some sweet, sweet candy-fucking Wincest.

Probably someone I know will have a BBQ or something for people who aren't doing the family thing... actually, I might see if anyone wants to come over to mine. I'll try to get to the beach this year around then. There will be napping, and lounging in the sun, and eating of strawberries. Definitely beer, though maybe I'll get myself a bottle of some kind of bubbly. Most people I know will have the week between Christmas and New Year off work so it tends to be a pretty social time.

I was toying with making some reusable decorations (after slightly D: at all the crépe paper from the flatmate's mid-winter-christmas themed birthday) out of fabric, like bunting instead of streamers. What were you trying to make, nonnie?

I was trying to make some decorations for the tree (which isn't a real tree, it is made of plastic) and for the table but I think I used too much of everything and now don't know how to fix it. I was using frost, crepe paper and polystyrene.

Oh, poo, that does sound complicated. I believe when in doubt, painting it gold and dipping it in glitter often does the trick... Can you salvage the polystyrene shapes at least?

I think the polystyrene can be saved and I think I will paint then and use glitter. I just have to tell my fingers not to make a mess again.

Now I have to hide the shapes that can't be used from my mom, I can't take another "do you know how many centuries it takes polystyrene to degrade?" lecture.

Thanks nonnie.

:)

*mom voice*

Remember that spraypaint and superglue can dissolve polystyrene, so be careful with that part of it and use white glue or hot glue to stick your shit together.

:p

Really, is like I never went to school. I'll keep this info in mind.

Lolol sorry, nonnie, I can't help it, I find myself absently telling adult friends to put jerseys on when it's cold outside. They are all "...thanks." I don't even have kids.

Do you know Tim Minchin's "White wine in the sun", nonnie? I feel it's quite accurate.

I started knitting a scarf for my mum, and I was a little too ambitious and knit for 7 hours straight.

Today I woke up and couldn't barely move my arm. Knitting is so hardcore... I have to use the mouse with my left arm because my right one just hurts too much.
