depression patient, really diagnosed 20 years ago now, after three attempts of suicide, so nope... I'm not a hater.
but the guy has a point, any of you Oh so kind AKF buyers think you're better because you have a fucking hoodie?
I've heard con assisting idiots saying. "it helped me a lot, I was depressed after I broke up with my boyfriend, we were together three months." like seriously?
and also there are thesis about this campaign this year and how in an attempt to help its been toxic for real people struggling with mental illness.
OH Pious fans who spread hate, I wonder why that kid went on anon.
ETA: I'm not the anon, just in case the shit throwing fest change directions.
You completely missed the point of literally everything here, it may be because of your understanding of English, I'm not sure.
The point is not the campaign itself, especially not here.
The point is copyright violation, theft, fraud and scamming. Not only do the people not recieve the product or only recieve a low quality cheap copy, any money that would be raised by the original fundraiser will not go to ANY charities that do help.
Your hissyfit I'm going to blame on your self-admitted mental issues, lack of focus and missing of the point too. If you're currently in need of help and support please seek it out, contact the mental health hotline in your area. http://togetherweare-strong.tumblr.com/helpline
I think the worst part is when they accuse Jared of exploiting his own illness: "Do you really need someone who just came out revealing he suffer a mental illness when he started selling stuff?"
We don't know what happened. Maybe the co-operation with Represent triggered something in him to stand up to his depression, or his standing up lead to the co-operation. We only know that he helped a lot of people to reach out for help and made even more aware of it.
No, I don't. I feel sad that there are so many people hurting from depression, but that's not one of the problems I have.
I just think it's not fair accusing Jared of scamming his fans because the AKF campaign is not the singular success people think it is. If it really is so bad for some people hit with mental illness, why don't they let Jared and represent know instead of making serious accusations?
being a victim of the guy who you warned us all about, Jussie, Mica or whatever, I thought this community was an awesome idea, a way to be aware of how people try to ruin everything Supernatural do for others.
I'm aware that copyright has been infringed, I'm aware that AKF is supposed to help others.
Your method of bullying others is what I'm against, whoever this kid was, obviously just gave their opinion, and you just throwing him to the dogs?
