Like her or not, she's given us insight into Sam and Dean we haven't seen before. Winchesters keeping company with a demon who used to be human, who used to be a witch. We still don't really know her endgame, her purpose, or what side she may be rooting for.

-This felt like a moment of acceptance, the bridging of a gap between Dean and Ruby that hadn't existed until 4x10. Ruby knows her boundaries when it comes to Sam and Dean, being in the middle of them for once, but not really. Hot threesome.
You Won't Make a Saint of Me by griva_x, (Sam/Ruby, R)
-This is a very painful, stripped down, completely exposed Sam that's not easy to read. Set during Dean's absence it gives insight into how Sam may have survived his day to day with Ruby contributing her snark and a twisted sense of companionship. Sam's POV, second person. Excellent characterization and I came away from it understanding Sam in survival mode, what losing Dean did to him.
