Wow, that was so intense--in every spectrum of emotion. The most vivid parts for me were Dean's 'happy place' day dreams at the beginning, because you could feel that passion, and then the sight of Sammy right after they find him in the trunk; seriously anxiety-inducing. Lovely balance throughout the fic, tonally.
