This post is for anyone taking part in Summergen who is willing to act as a beta reader and/or needs one.

If you're available to beta, please comment and briefly state the kind of things you can do e.g. English/grammar/spelling, particular character voices, Ameripick etc. and how writers can get in touch with you ( Read more... )

Happy to beta anything that isn't too long (10K or less). I can do Ameripicking, grammar and spelling, plot, and character. I'm also generally pretty good with dialogue and embarrassingly familiar with canon, so I can nitpick that as well.

PM me on Livejournal if you want to set something up. :)

I'm happy to beta anything related to grammar, spelling, Ameripicking, plot, and characterization. I do well with dialogue, flow, and canon. If you want to chat, feel free to email me at silver_bookworm@yahoo.com.

Hi, just finished my story (3,500 words) and could use another pair of eyes looking at it for content, punctuation, whether it makes sense or needs more details. . .

anglofans@aol.com, please put "Summergen" in the subject line.

Thank you.

I'm just finishing up my Castiel-focused story and plan to have it ready to read by this Saturday at the latest. PM me if you're available.

Hi, I know this is short notice but would anyone be willing to take a look at a 5,000-word story? It's kind of humorous and features the boys, Bobby, and Bela. I'm mostly worried that I've got the "voices" right, that it sounds plausible overall, and that a few minor canon details sound okay, but a second look at grammar is always good. My e-mail is my username at gmail dot com.
