I loved how you touched on so many different things here; Dean's possession, how he now knows what it feels like and how Sam must have felt with Gadreel, Sam and Jack's relationship and how Dean feels a little envious of that, as well as Sam's blindness and how Dean feels guilty for it. But I loved how in the end with the help of the hunt they all pull together and are able to come to an understanding.
I especially enjoyed the last few sentences.
Thanks for sharing, I really enjoyed this. Take care :)
This was *so* good, I felt like I was watching an actual episode of the show. The case they were investigating was interesting, and the interaction between Sam and Dean and Jack felt so real. I loved that you alternated your POV between the brothers so we could get all this wonderful insight into them both. Having Dean finally realize what he did to Sam with Gadreel was so amazing. And having Sam's powers manifest again was just icing on the cake.
I started this way back when it first appeared, and knew it would be good but somehow kept not getting back to it what with one thing and another, until today. But I want you to know that every time I saw the tab sitting there, I’d subconsciously start singing the damn song. 😂
Love that Sam is quietly determined to do things his way, and still able to save the day (and his brother) from the monster! And it’s a monster he’s uniquely immune to, even. Jack was a treat throughout, and Dean’s issues, actions, and resolution rang very true. Thanks for the awesome!
