Thank you for writing this from my prompt. I feel special because it's like I've been given five stories instead of one.

1. Sam learns that imprefection can be perfection.
2. Sam gets to undergo one of those "masculine" hunting rituals - at least he wasn't one of my cousins. They had to eat a piece of the raw liver of the first deer they killed. Why? Damned if I know.

3. Sam gets his first taste of hunting. I feel sorry for the ghost though.

4. Jess meets her man. *grin* Lucky girl.

5. Poor Sam, he's alone with nothing to lose and still keeps going, keeps trying, keeps fighting.
