This is an unusual and exciting piece of art. I love the background and the way the characters are 'moving' - if you get what I mean! And I always love Sammy to the rescue!

I came to look at this again this morning, when I saw you posted on tumblr, and am horrified to see that my comment never posted apparently!! Did it from mobile so maybe that's why. Anyway, so sorry! I loved this, the texture and atmosphere of the woods (which I see other people have mentioned too), the shading at Sam's wrist and the blood on his palm. It makes me think about what led up to this moment; it's like a whole story sort of ... catalysed by a single image.
