Very cool premise. I like the back and forth with the Buddha.

Thanks! Glad you liked it. I'm more or less over my embarrassment at replying before anonymity was resolved...

I recognized the hand from the Tale of Monkey. Nice working of the belief! I have suspected that the Winchesters have come up against certain Native American beliefs but our land is a land of many peoples and many beliefs.

In short, it works. I really like it. Thank you!

Thank you! I've been working on a long one that involves Chinese popular religion, hungry ghosts and the like -- the one I started on for mlle keerawa's cool prompt. you're right -- so many fascinating beliefs here and in the world!

Haha! I liked this a lot! Tons of fun. The visual of the giant hand was especially enjoyable.

Looking back, I can see what a ridiculously ambitious prompt that was - sorry? But this is a great response!

I love that, in this insane situation, their first response to to try and call Bobby. The way that the Buddha is really trying to be helpful, translating the Dharma in a way the Winchesters can understand. And Sam's answer to Dean, on whether reincarnation exists.

Thank you! And I would love to read the long stroy, someday, if you ever have the time and inclination to finish it!

I'm glad you liked this. I've waited long enough to have got over my embarrassment at posting here before we were supposed to... Months seems long enough! Your prompt(s) was/were really good, just --as you say-- very ambitious. I tried to do something that at least approached your ideas-- or maybe begin to set up a foundation for something bigger with them in mind. The other story still wants to get finished; if you like I'll let you know when it does.
