So, on a whim I started watching Nikita on Monday, and I've fallen a teensy bit in love. Okay, a lot. I just have lots of feels, okay. And crushes. Lots of those too. Someone flail with me!

At this rate, I'll be watching way more of the CW than I thought this fall...

Okay, okay, maybe I haven't given it a fair enough chance. It's just the few bits I've watched before SPN comes on have not made me want to sit through a whole episode. :(

Am I missing out on something really good here?

It's a whole lot more than just the bits before SPN. TBH, the last five minutes of none of the episodes are good enough to base the show off of. Except maybe Wrath, but that was a flawless episode already

can anyone rec me some good books? I typically go for semi-crappy YA lit with supernatural themes

example of books I like: The Book Thief, Abarat series, Going Bovine, anything free on kindle no matter how bad

Have you read Ender's Game? It's really good. Also I really loved Jim Butcher's Furies of Calderon series. It completely sucked me in till the very end.

I loved Ender's Game! I could never get into Speaker for the Dead, though. Have you read it/is it worth trying again? Never heard of Furies of Calderon, but it sounds like an epic fantasy. I'll definitely check it out. Thank you!

My brother is watching Battleship for the fourth time in three days. I've not sat through it once and paid attention and yet somehow I know what happens. *sigh*
TBH, though, it's not that bad, at all. It's a great scifiy actiony movie.
