Right now I'm researching what laptop I should consider buying. I have to balance out the fact that I want a good-quality laptop, but that I don't want to spend too much 'cause I'll probably end up using it for only two years.
Hey, might I suggest the laptop I bought a couple months ago? It's really, really portable, relatively inexpensive and works great. The only downside: no cd drive. Here's a link
I don't really need a CD drive, since I don't use CDs, but I'd be doing a lot of graphics stuff, so I'm looking for as big a screen as I can get(prolly ~15 in.). But I love HP so I have looked at a few of their laptops.
Oh okay. If you're doing a lot of graphics stuff (I don't know how heavy) I really recommend mac products, like the Air which is light but a bit more expensive. My sister and dad are both artists and they've both told me how much better macs are for graphic design and such. I'm a pc person myself, but I would say macs have the edge, art wise. But there are plenty of good options!!
yeah, i went to my first comic con last year, then went to the nerd hq. got the nerve to ask a question during jared's panel, and then all hell broke loose..
