I want to be more excited but like, there's just SO MUCH to cover in 3 episodes here! Unless a bunch of these characters only have like, 2 minute scenes or something. Even then, I don't know.
I wish we didn't have ep. 20 as filler because there's still so much story left in the season. Not that I want to really complain because it's an episode that looks like it'll be something I will really enjoy.
I just don't want a repeat of 8.19 with crazy fast pacing
I think it'll be a "clip show" in as much as we'll see flashbacks, but there will be some twist to them. Something goes wrong, or dark, or people die when they didn't in the actual past.
It seems like there's going to be a LOT to stuff into these last episodes. I'd actually hoped they'd wrap up the whole tablet storyline and start anew with something else next season, but now I suspect they'll carry at least the angel tablet into season 9. I mean, it's probably got trials too, yeah? Or something?
So this probably means Sarah won't actually be there, just her memory/ghost/projection torturing Sam as one in a long line of ex-girlfriends and almost-girlfriends? Meh. (Does "fridged girlfriend angst parade" have its own TV Tropes page yet?)
But I have to admit I don't care much. Now, what I'm seriously worried about is Crowley! I don't want him dead or locked in hell!!! D: Seeing him evil it up and unleash some of his so-far underused evil-genius potential will certainly be fun! I hope we get to see him address his old beef with Cas that was left unresolved in S7!
