Queue lots of angsting about the brothers' own lost childhoods, it's gonna be pretty great.

Yep. The minute the dude mentioned soccer practice, and that one of the kids was a National Merit Scholar, I was feeling sorry for Sam. "You mean I could have done both that and hunting, and not been horribly torn between what I wanted and what Dad wanted, and had it lead to a major rift in my family? NOT FAIR!"

Actually, he still wanted to be safe, so the fights probably would still have happened. Just later, and a bit more stable childhood.

Yeah eh, poor Sam, it's like he couldn't have it all and these kids can but there's definitely gonna be a lot of mixed feelings about what's going on with these kids. At least he seems happy about being a Man of Letters now?

If Dean became a teacher at that school, I would reconsider my own choice of work. Or maybe tons of make up would let me pass as a pupil?! No. Not likely.
