Yeah, Pedowitz can suck it - I've wanted a spinoff with Cas and maybe even Bobby since S5 ended. Probably blasphemy here, but Sam and ESPECIALLY Dean bore me senseless these days. I know - watch another show. I would love to...but it needs to have Castiel in it. He's got more story potential than any of the True Blood would-be's on TVD.

I know, but that's sort of the writers' own faults. It's a bit hard to forgive them for episodes like Time for a Wedding or that other painful one with the werewolf kids when the last three seasons have been mostly filler.

It's only a web series, though. I'm still excited about it, but it probably won't help get him recognition.

So, um, confession time; I've secretly been hoping since basically the beginning of s8 (i.e. when it became evident it was season gr8) that this season would be magical and perfect and then end with a big awesome bang (and by that, I mean everyone goes for a picnic and has a lovely afternoon and drives the impala off into the sunset, etc). Cause after s5 being so ZOMFGAMAZING then s6 being kiiiiiind of a downer sometimes, I felt like the show was dragging on, so what if there's a s9 and its NOT GOOD, what are we gonna do? Am I being a Negative Nancy here? I'm just scared it won't be awesome and we'll be sad, though worse things could happen, or it could even be awesome, who knows. Either way I'll watch the hell out of it and will probably have lots of fun regardless of how it turns out.

Yeah, season 6 wasn't the best, but if the show keeps going on, there would always be the possibility of great future seasons! And every season has several great episodes. I know I start to nitpick this and that about this show, and then I realize when I try to watch something else that even a lousy episode of Supernatural is better than most shows' greatest episodes ....

no spin off please and thank you. as much as i'd love to watch a series of castiel&crowley working together, i don't think it would be a wise idea.

I don't know why they don't just confirm another season now, it's what everyone is expecting. They already moved it out of the horrible friday night slot so it's obvious it's not on its way out, and it's the best-performing of their shows after TVD and Arrow.
