If you've ever spent a day hanging around a set...it is soooooo boring. Unless you're working on a soap, where they shoot extra-fast.

Nope, never have. Not much filming goes on in bustling central Ohio. I think it'd be cool to do just once, though. I'd bring my Kindle and read fanfic in all that downtime...heh.

And is that a skirt? or is it a wrap kind of thing?

She's got a blanket wrapped around her lower half.
I imagine with the Watchman set there's no heat available, so the only heat would come from the lights.

Why is the set so cold?

It's the Watchman set, which I'm sure has no heating. The only warmth they'd be getting is from the lights. And since they're just standing sets there's no insulation from the outside cold.

I'm guessing the skirt is either a wrap because it's cold, or because we only see her from above the waist 3/4 of the time in that scene. It's like Jared and Jensen's button down shirts not having sleeves so they'll lie smooth under their jackets.

It's actually just a blanket wrapped around her waist. The sets there on the Watchman lot have no insulation, so the only heat would be from the lights.
