I went ahead and converted to mp3 (a requirement for archiving). I also compiled a podbook with the various covers embedded with the appropriate sections, but I haven't posted it. Let me know if you want to use a different version. :-)

So glad you enjoyed it! I love podficcing - it's a different experience to read a story out loud and really consider every word than it is to just read it. It's especially a pleasure when someone like oselle has written such a carefully crafted, beautifully worded story.

The music is the score from "The Road," which I watched back when oselle first started writing this story and had talked to me about it. I noticed the music throughout the film and it reminded me of "In Country." It's haunting and bleak and yet beautiful. And, appropriately, it's a movie about the end of the world. They just seemed to mesh very well.

I've just finished the whole podfic'd series. This was besutifully read & the music and sound effects were outstanding also. This is certainly going on my list of favorites, snd I'll be relistening in the future!
